Flowing Well

The Flow Indicator at the Blanchetown lock. It usually indicates the volume of water flowing through the Lock and is normally many meters above the river level. Now underwater, the sign just highlights the sheer enormity and volume of water flowing through the river during the 2022 Murray River Floods. But in context, the 1926 flood, was a further 4 metres ABOVE this Flow indicator!
